Last week I spoilt myself with this beaut of an eyeshadow palette form NYX. It’s from the Ultimate Shadow Palette – Palette Ombre collection in Warm Neutrals. It’s the perfect palette to create endless looks with.
The palette exist out of 16 warm neutral shades. It has a great combination of matte and shimmery shades. To give you a better idea of the shades in this palette I took a photo of it without flash and a photo with flash. The photo with flash gives you a better look of the shimmery shades as well.
As the name of the palette already says it consist out of warm shades. There are brown/orange shades but also purple/mauve shades. When I first had it in my hand I thought its a perfect palette to create bronzed looks with. You surely can but as there are also some mauve shades in it you can create something completely different which makes it a perfect palette for me.
For todays look I did go for a bronzed look as I haven’t don’t that in a while and I love this look on myself as it will let my blue/grey coloured eyes pop out more.
Nothing really special about my base. Most of the products I actually use all the time to start off with.
Rimmel London Fix & Perfect Makeup Primer
NYX Eyeshadow Base in ESB03
Bobbi Brown Corrector in Peach Bisque (used it under my eyes only)
Rimmel London Match Perfect Concealer in 010 Ivory
Bourjois City Radiance Foundation
As the shades in this palette aren’t named or numbered I will give them number myself to make it easier to explain where I used what shade. I start left at the top with number one and will work my why to the right and then the bottom row again from left to right again.
Transition colour: Number 1
Crease: Number 6
Crease and outer eyelid: Number 13
Inner and middle eyelid: Number 9
Under eyelid: Number 13
eyebrow bone: Number 2
Eyebrows: New Look Brow Pencil in Medium
Eyelashes: Kiko Luxurious Lashes Maxi Brush Mascara
Blush & Highlight
The highlight for this look is from the Sleek Highlighting Palette Solstice in the shade Subsolar. Unfortunately you can’t see it very well on the photo but I only used a tiny amount to create a subtle shimmer. Since a long time I used the Nude Spectrum blush palette from Zoeva again. I used ND020.
I love that its the time of the year again where I can wear bright colour lipsticks again. Of course you wear what ever you want trough the whole year but I don’t seem to wear brighter shades pink in the winter. With this bronzed eyelook I liked to wear a more brighter pink lipstick. It’s still not super bright but also not a very nudy shade. I’m wearing a soft matte lip cream from NYX in Istanbul. A big favourite of mine in the soft matte lip cream collection from NYX.
Some products from NYX I love and some I absolutely hate but this eyeshadow palette I adore.
The palette costs £15,99. Maybe not the cheapest out there but you get a great product back for it. It has a great pigmentation and I love the amount of different shades. I don’t have many other drugstore palettes with that many shades in one palette.
